Ferrara has a special place in my heart as I lived there for a year from 2006 to 2006 so I am, perhaps, a little biased towards this town in Emilia Romagna. Despite its reputation for fog – a reputation shared amongst all the towns of the region – it can be an enchanting place. The city is (almost) surrounded by medieval walls which can be a nice walk if you can manage the 9km distance!
This video was taken on an unusual day: they had both the classic car rally and the hot air balloon festival, all on one day!
