Sarzana, Liguria.

Sarzana is a traditional walled medieval city near La Spezia in the province of Liguria in North Eastern Italy. With a castle and classic central piazza, the town is small enough to walk around in an hour or so. One particular highlight is the Gelateria Gemmi which is also a cafe and has a restaurant upstairs with covered outdoor seating. Sarzana is also famous for having house the Buonaparte family and you can see their former home along with the street named after them.
